No Issues With Winter World Cup? IOC Might Have A Few

Sepp Blatter continues to believe that he can fix all of the issues surrounding hosting a World Cup in Qatar. The key issue here is that FIFA has discussed moving the World Cup to January which in itself may seem like an excessive change to allow Qatar to host the World Cup, but the biggest issue coming out now is that Jacques Rogge and the IOC have concerns about overloading January with both a World Cup and a Winter Olympics, presumably taking eyes away from one. Considering the viewership of the two I would say that the IOC has more to lose, and should be more upset about the situation considering FIFA is jumping into the Winter Olympics established position. Rogge says “as of today we think it’s far too premature,” which is entirely true, but hopefully this issue gets solved before it becomes a bigger problem
